Located in the Chongqing mountain area, China, this futuristic project with a stunning creative structure is designed by Shanghai based Italian Interior Architecture firm Taranta Creations for the municipality. Aesthetically pleasing and in the same time functional, the bridge’s design is inspired by China’ culture -a dragon shape- featuring  graceful sinuous curvature that gently traverses the river. Very quickly the bridge become a landmark for the area. Surrounded by wonderful green landscape, it’s platform  is interconnecting with the green mountain side. One of the interesting features of the project is that the grid-shaped rooftop of the bridge has the function of sun reflection.

The Eco Bridge’ project is currently under construction and its completion is planned for 2012.
