Scandinavian Tradition Inspiration: Milk Lamp

Kasper Ronn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen from Norm Architects designed a small desk lamp for those who love the simplicity and evocative Scandinavian style. “Milk Lamp”, as it is called, combines perfectly functionality with a beautiful minimalist, poetic and timeless design which make it an interesting addition in a modern apartment or house. Milk Lamp’s design evokes Scandinavian tradition- the classic milking stool: translucent milky glass dome and three small unfinished oak supports stick out like stools legs. Equipped with a G9 halogen bulb that results in a modest energy consumption, the little lamp’s glow is warm which creates a cozy atmosphere around. Thus, it is perfect as a mood lamp or reading lamp or to leave switched on when the skies are a bit dark.
