Anthropologie Burlingame by EOA Elmslie Osler Architect

Anthropologie Burlingame is designed by EOA/Elmslie Osler Architect, P.C. The façade of this building is made of several layers, and the forms look translucent but also solid, IPE wood screen and copper rods. On its surface, the building also show a porous material that interfere with crenelated stacked concrete resin inserted in every slot. Inside, the concrete forms provide natural light in stores with skylights concealed.
Copper bars are more visible as a bright necklace, drawing facade. At night, the store lights are hidden behind the screen, revealing layers of material.
