This interesting and playful set of wooden toys was created by Permafrost as a contribution to New Nordic – Architecture and Identity exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark, which is opened until October 21st, 2012 for the general public. The toys they were asked to design are one of the 30 small ‘Nordic dioramas’ in the exhibition, an exhibition which tries to find answers at some questions referring to Nordic identity. Permafrost’s vision that reflects on Nordic identity are these wooden toys that embodies modern day industrial icons while at the same time honors traditional Nordic craftsmanship.
