The MAXXI by Zaha Hadid Architects
The National Museum of Contemporary Arts in Rome or the MAXXI is recognized as “Building of the Year” in November 2010 by the World Architecture Festival jury. Opened last year, on may 30th, MAXXI is a “must see” museum. Zaha Hadid Architects complete this project over a total period of more than 10 years, but now it’s an impressive building that integrates perfectly into the area’s typology of the Flaminio neighborhood. They use glass, concrete ans steel to give spaces a neutral appearance.
