Looking at the Italian architect and designer Fabio Novembre‘s portofolio we must say that he’s probably one of the most original and remarkable talents of international design. You will understand why we say that by having a look to one of he’s latest work – 36h and 56h Chairs. When we saw them for the first time, we didn’t realize what they were because of their really unusual design, which doesn’t make you think at some seats. But yes, they are indeed some special chairs of the italian furniture manufacturer Driade 2012 previews.
Their originally looking design will certainly not go unnoticed in new homes: one is an easy chair resembling a throne, with a high backrest and a delicately curved seat, and the other one is a rocking chair. Inspired by elements of personal passions, background and life, Fabio Novembre’s chairs showcase a sinuous and ‘daydreamer’ shape given by an aluminum internal structure which is is upholstered with a plastic weaving at the exterior. We would be very curious to see how comfortable are these chairs. What do you think?
