  • Luxurious Interiors and Indian Contemporary Art in a Triplex Apartment in Mumbai

Luxurious Interiors and Indian Contemporary Art in a Triplex Apartment in Mumbai

“Luxury is not about buying expensive products, but about how they are set and used” consider Indian architects from ZZ Arhitects, who envisioned this absolutely stunning Triplex Apartment. A sense of luxury is all about personal aspirations combined with aesthetics and functionality, and Maheshwari Triplex, found in their portofolio, is a great example of this belief. Occupying three floors of a building located in Mumbai, India, Maheshwari Triplex is a gorgeous contemporary home that gives you the feeling of an elevated bungalow.

    Gorgeous-living-room

The residential project consisted of a massive redesign, and in order to form it, there were combined multiple flats, linked together by a wooder staircase and an internal elevator. Its design concept started with the idea of making a home where there’s a clear delineation between public and personal spaces. So, the apartment can host and entertain a large number of guests in the living area and lounge, while the bedrooms, terrace and jacuzzi is intented only for privacy and solace. Opulent and elegant in the same time, with a well defined personality, this 7000 sq.ft Triplex Apartment is a visual treat with its exquisite Indian Contemporary Art and spectacular view of Mumbai city.

Everything is beautiful here and the feeling you have when you look at this pictures is harmony, luxury, spatiality. The design elements are complementing one another, standing out interesting textures and materials that have been used in an innovative way. A fusion of styles and a blend of interior finishes are obvious through the home.  A single material, travertine, is manipulated in the interiors of this triplex apartment. The living room, which is the entertainment area, is uniquely crafted in order to accommodate family and friends. It displays comfortable lounge chairs and a mdoern large plasma. Moreover, it hosts an impressive Indian contemporary art collection, which give this room a fantastic, genuine look.

    Luxurious-living-room-design

The apartment is designed on hi-end and luxury premises. Some of the materials used throughout it are natural unfinished stone, seasoned wood, Greek Thasos, Italian marble, Maroccan wall covers, gemstones and bronze metallic surfaces with laquered veneers in the kitchen. Bedrooms are equipped with everything they need. For instance, the master bedroom features walk-in wardrobes, television area, a small lounge and a study. But there is no way the bathroom to pass not observed, being the piece-de-resistance here.

A large jacuzzi  surrounded by three-fourth length windows draw inevitably our attention and is for sure the ideal place to relax and forget about the busy and warm day you had. To add dynamics of the residence, the terraces are carved out even if the Maheshwari Triplex is located in a building. Here the view of the city’s skyline must be fantastic. • The Ultimate Vehicle for Total Escapism -Vessel by Splinter Works

The Ultimate Vehicle for Total Escapism -Vessel by Splinter Works

We don’t know what is your definition for ultimate stylish relaxation, but we can show you how it looks like according to Splinter Works‘s vision. It’s called “Vessel”,  a name that might not stir your interest or your imagination, but if you take a look to the following pictures, they will definitely do. Reinterpreting the bathroom as a contemplative sanctuary for artful leisure, these talented designers created a stunning bathtub that will literally elevate the experience of bathing, whilst enhance your bathroom environment.

Unlike anything we’ve seen before in a bathroom, this design is truly something unique and special. A suspended sculptural piece that promises both the cool experience of kicking-back in a hammock and the comfort of soaking in a hot bath.

    Limited-edition-bath-tub

Like other ambitious project signed by Splinter Works, Vessel is provoking, aesthetically beguiling, intelligently designed and a delight to use. The shapes of two compelling symbols of relaxation, a hammock and a bathtub, were ingeniously combined to achieve a functional bathtub for everyday use. Designed for use in a wet room, it’s 2.7m long and is made from carbon fibre due to its properties of turning into complex curves. The tub is insulated with a foam beneath the layers of carbon fibre, which means you can enjoy the hot bath longer than usually.

Vessel’s hammock-like shape doesn’t touch the floor, being  fixed to walls with stainless steel brackets that can be covered over, or left revealed.  The bath is filled using a floor standing tap and the waste water released through the base into a floor drain. A downpipe drain can also be installed if a wet room setting is not possible. Its minimalist and artistic design with clean lines and curvaceous shape is really engaging and inspiring giving you the possibility to customised it by choosing other sizes, and personalized it through a variaty of bold colors: red, blue, yellow, pink, bronze and pure silver.

Modern Meets Traditional in a Luxurious Villa in Indonesia

Welcome to a new modern holiday villa concept that takes refinement and relaxation to a whole new level: Villa Sapi. Located in north Lombok, one of the new most prestigious and private addresses in Indonesia, this luxurious villa may be the ideal venue for any holiday with family or friends, aiming to bring together a sophisticated design style and a magnificent tropical site. Nestled in and amongst hundreds of towering coconut and palm trees, with heanvenly-turquoise ocean to the front of you blessed with pure white‐sand beachfront and distant volcanoes, beautiful Villa Sapi creates a secluded spot that induces a strong feeling of leisure and relaxation in perfect harmony with nature.

Spreading over more than 2 hectars, it features two modern freestanding buildings, which impresses by the architect’s unique design approach – a Bauhaus style of function over form – that blends contemporary architectural style and amenities with traditional elements.  At every turn, interesting angles, curves and colors capture guests attention, while the interiors showcases elegance offering service and cosiness of a five star hotel.

  • Special Edition Table with Multifaceted Sophisticated Base

Special Edition Table with Multifaceted Sophisticated Base

Maybe it’s not a museum piece, but certainly this special edition table is a work of art, at least in these photos. Its gorgeous design created on its base, because the base is what stands out the most, is showcasing a great way to form and structure glass. Every time we look at it, we see a different pattern and we love how its multi-dimensional structure beautifully reflects light.

British-born and Hong Kong based designer Michael Young and Czech Republic-based glass manufacturer Lasvit teamed up to create this outstanding piece, named ” Homune Table”, which not only is good looking, but is also functional. Made entirely of hand-blown glass, the beauty of design lies in the combination of smooth, clear crystal glass for the top of the table with the amber colored glass for the base, which seems as an endless geometric construction appearing like a DNA spiral.

To achieve this multifaceted leg, Lasvit captured Michael Young´s design into a specific blowing technology based on 3D visuals, blowing glass into only one metal tool and cutting it at different lengths. The resulting structure consists of 36 hand-blown glass fractals, which feature six different designs repeating six times. It evolves in a continuum of reflective and shiny surfaces, giving a sophisticated spirit to space.
