Fresh Small Apartment on the Edge of Modern Style
You are about to enter a well planned place, a fresh small apartment, where modern blend of materials, textiles and colors invites to relaxation and recharging batteries after work in an agitated European capital, Bucharest. For those of you who like more youtful interior design, this lovely and calm retreat designed by talented Romanian interior design architects Monica Corduneanu and Paula-Maria Duta from ArchInteriors will be eye candy. As an enchanting one room apartment enriched with creative details, making everything look cozy, managed to make an impression on us! With its simplicity and dedication towards clear lines, this small apartment, specifically designed for a young and energetic couple, is beautiful, dynamic and modern.

Interior design architects brought to life the living room, bathroom and kitchen areas by creating a perfect symbiosis between distinct zones of interest: relaxation zones (defined by a warm beige color palette) and more active ones highlighted in green. We love how this interesting color combination conveys the idea of a multifunctional space: cheerful and energetic on one hand, cozy and relaxing on the other hand. Those warm, earthy colors used on one side of the room highlights the bold green used as accent on the opposite wall, creating in this way a strong visual impact and a center on interest, which is the TV set.
To add a touch of originality, the other accent wall isn’t just simple painted, but it’s out of the ordinary through a creative drawing alternating dark and light shades of the background color, which frames some decorations items. The soft and comfortable-looking couch also enhances the impression of a peaceful and inviting place. Modern and minimalist furniture, decorations along with an airy white curtain with drapery in the same shade of green on the wall beautifully complement the entire living space that greatly enjoy light. Both kitchen and bathroom designs follows the same pattern as living room.

Small yet practical and comfortable, the kitchen environment communicate energy and joy, brightening it through the use of the same vivid green color, that creates dimension in combination, with plain white, that make the kitchen feel more spacious than it actually is. Some cute pictures with simple white frames give a playful touch to the overall look of the room. Simple yet stylish, the bathroom is a warm space, that surprises the eye due to the dark graphic element used against the immaculate white tiles. Designers choose to dress in tiles only the bathtub area, the other one painting it with an earthy dark shade, which makes quite an interesting contrast with white. How do you feel about this relaxing ambience?

Delicate Lamp Designs Inspired by Nature
We stumbled across these lovely series of table lamps created by Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær, which are quite simple yet very interesting and a little bit different. The lamp designs showcasing forms inspired by the surrounding nature are creatively made, as they may resemble different things like buds, big raindrops, snowdrops and why not fruits.
Bloom, as they were called, have steel structures in various heights and colorful printed canvas bulbs with visible seams on the material surface that are reminiscent of fibers, together contributing to their association with organic shapes. At night, their warm light highlights most of all the upper part of their delicate silhouette, so that the raindrops seems to float. We love them because they really add light in a quite unexpected way. These pieces work beautifully both alone and together making a great accent in modern spaces.

New Samsung 4K TV Unveiled at CES 2013
Among many impressive TVs at CES 2013, South Korean giant Samsung pleasantly surprised the audience by enveiling Samsung 4K TV, the largest 4K television ever launched, which ensures a premium experience to users. With a diagonal of 85 inches, about 216 cm, and a resolution of four times the 1080p (HD Display), the Samsung S9 (S9000) 4K UHD TV beats the existing 4k TVs by a full inch and the brand, with a successful history of creating innovative products, marks a new era of minimalist design and latest engineering technologies.
Delivering the ultimate in picture quality and thinness, the Samsung S9 4K UHD TV shows unique features to the world that brought to it a CES 2013 design award even before the show had started. It’s an intelligent LED backlit TV with all the conectivity and 3D capabilities, a masterpiece that will be acclaimed by home entertainment and design enthusiasts alike.

The TV can restore HD and Full HD resolutions to make them entirely Ultra HD. The next-level screen features Precision Black Pro technology that promises blacks and whites very dense shades. The technology combines a high contrast ratio. To be able to support both classic content and present application, S9 has a quad core processor. The audio system has three tap and 120 watts, and Samsung promises a listening experience six times better than conventional TVs (do not know how it was tested this feature). Voice interaction is another unique feature that allows you to control it by talking to him.
But beyond 4K resolution and 3D capability, perhaps the most interesting feature (as noted and those attending CES) is the ability to connect with any Samsung gadget or appliance from the house. For example, if you have a Samsung washing machine, you can see how much time is left until completion of washing. Awesome, isn’t it?! Moreover, S9 is also remarkable thanks to its the special frame, brilliant and unique, where it seems to “float”. Samsung has given a name: Timeless Gallery, which seeks to integrate directly the TV in a minimalist design of a house. It seems there’s no release date or pricing as for the moment for the stunning Samsung S9 4K UHD TV, those from Samsung also preparing to launch this year 95 and 110-inch TVs with Ultra HD 4k technology. Take a look!
